Information about TICO product’s software

Software Configuration

The software embedded in the listed below products (the Products) is composed of several independent software components, each of which has copyright of TICO or a third party.

TICO’s software and Open Source Software

In the software components of the Product, software developed by TICO is protected by TICO’s copyright, copyright law, international treaties and other relevant laws.
The Products also includes software which is protected by a third party’s copyright, and open-source software (OSS), The terms of use of OSS depend on the licenses applied to them.
In the event the Customer modifies the OSS contained in the Products ,which may lead to the defects, failure, or accident of the Products,the Customer shall be responsible for such modifications, except as instructed by TICO.TICO shall not be responsible for any failure, defects, or accident caused by or may be caused by such acts,and the Customer shall settle all such failure, defects, or accident at its own responsibility and expense, and shall indemnify and hold TICO harmless from and against any and all damages, including claims by third parties.

※The Customers can get the source code and library of OSS included in the Products.
※The source code and libraries are provided as is and under each OSS license.
※If you have any questions about OSS, please contact the Toyota dealer.
　However,please refrain from inquires about the content of the source code.
